REPEAL Petition is for ALL RESIDENTS living in San Diego County regardless of Council District.
UPDATE AS OF 4/5/19: Cory Briggs has filed a lawsuit against the City of San Diego over the new ordinance. Please keep signing and forwarding the petition to friends and neighbors.
After signing the petition, please scroll to the bottom of this page for information regarding BALLOON MARCH II, a countywide protest march to protest the Parking Space Ordinance and lawmakers’ attempts to suspend height limits within the Coastal Commission Act boundaries and areas protected by Proposition D.

The disruptive Ordinance was approved by the San Diego City Council on 3/19/2019.
The San Diego City Council voted 7 to 2 in favor of the ordinance on 3/19/2019. The adopted Ordinance reduced the requirements from parking of multifamily residential development within Transit Priority Areas (TPAs) to a minimum of zero parking spaces.
This means that new projects built in TPAs are no longer required to provide parking spaces for unit owners/renters.
The ordinance is a windfall for developers and will result in a spillover of vehicles being parked on residential streets surrounding transit hubs.
To raise awareness of the REPEAL Petition and the attempt by Sacramento lawmakers to suspend our coastal and inland height limits to pack density into TPAs across San Diego County, we are organizing BALLOON MARCH II.
